Gear up for an action-packed spring season with Jr Hoops! Our program is designed to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where players of all skill levels can shine. Experience fun-filled practices, inclusive games, and a welcoming community that makes every moment on the court memorable.

FEATURES

WHEN

March 9 - May 16, 2026

Practices

  • Start Date: Monday, March 9, 2026

  • Frequency: 18-20 practices (2 per week, each lasting 1 hour)

  • Days & Times: Mondays-Fridays: 4pm-9pm

  • Practice Preferences: Parents can specify preferred practice days on the registration form.

  • Important Note: While we do our best to accommodate preferences, schedules cannot be guaranteed.

  • Practice schedules can be found HERE once it’s release in early March.

Games

  • Number of Games: 7-9 games (1 per week)

  • Game Days: Saturdays, between 9am-6pm

    • Game Dates: 3/21, 3/28, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/9, 5/16

    • Bye Weeks (No games): Week 1 (3/14), Week 4 (4/4), Week 8 (5/2)

    • Holiday Breaks (No games & practices): None

Note: Future Stars Division (<K) does not participate in games and has (1) practice per week

Practice locations include (but not limited to):

DIVISIONS

We feature 4 co-ed divisions including:

  • Future Stars Division: TK

  • Youngsters Division: K-2nd grade

  • Rising Stars Division: 3rd-5th grade

  • All-Stars Division: 6th-8th grade

Please note:

  • Only the Future Stars Division uses a lowered hoop. All other divisions play on a regulation 10-foot basket. Therefore, we don’t recommend that kindergartners join unless they’re comfortable shooting on a full-size hoop.

  • Parents may request for their child to play up a division. All requests will be reviewed by our staff, and approval will depend on whether we believe it’s the right fit for both the player and the league.

COST

Membership

  • Early Bird Pricing (12/1-2/1): $400

  • Regular Pricing (2/2-3/8): $450

  • Late Pricing (3/9-4/1): $500

  • Future Stars division (TK): $200

Credit cards processing fees apply.
$60 processing fee for all refunds (Refund Policy).

  • Jersey: $25 (Optional if you already have it from previous seasons)

Financial Aid & Scholarships

We believe every player deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and grow through basketball. That’s why we offer financial aid and scholarship opportunities for qualifying families.

EVALUATIONS / PARENT MEETING

All participants must attend our evaluation session for team placement. This session is essential to maintain a well-balanced and competitive league.

  • K-4th Grade Evaluations: 6:00-6:45pm

  • Parent Meeting: 6:45-7:15pm

  • 5th-8th Grade Evaluations: 7:15-8:00pm

FAQ

  • Are the evaluations a tryout? No, everyone will be placed on a team.

  • If my child missed evaluations, can they still join? Absolutely! Simply provide a detailed description of your child’s experience on the registration form, and we'll ensure they're placed on the right team.

  • Can I request a practice day / time? Welcome to submit a request. We can’t guarantee any request but we’ll try our best.

  • Can I request that my child be placed on the same team as his friends? Welcome to submit a request. We can’t guarantee the request since we need to evaluate every player to make sure the teams are balanced.

  • Is the 2nd practice optional? Can my child only attend 1 practice per week at a discounted rate? No, both practices are required.

  • If I miss a practice can I make it up or get a refund? No, our memberships are seasonal not per practice. We don’t offer makeup practices or refunds for missed practices.

  • What if my child participates in the upcoming LA Select tryouts and makes the team? If this takes place before the start of the Jr Hoops season, we’ll offer you a full refund and transfer your account to LA Select.
