WINTER 2026 SEASON
The Winter 2026 season is officially complete, and what a season it was. Jr Hoops players brought nonstop energy and effort across every division. From our youngest Future Stars to our competitive All Stars, the league was filled with growth, teamwork, and a true passion for the game.
MILESTONES
This season marked an important expansion for Jr Hoops. The Future Stars Division officially added a new team, the Jr Hoops Tigers, continuing the league’s steady growth and creating more opportunities for our youngest players to get started.
We also welcomed a special visit from the LA Galaxy Star Squad, who stopped by to interact with players, take photos, and bring extra energy to the gym during games and activities. Their presence added a unique layer of excitement to the day and gave our families a memorable experience beyond the competition. Moments like these continue to elevate the Jr Hoops experience and strengthen our connection with the broader sports community.
CHAMPIONS
Congrats to our Winter 2026 Champions! Let’s take a look at who came out on top in each division:
Youngsters Division Champions: Dolphins
The Dolphins captured the Youngsters championship with a thrilling 18 to 17 win over the Lions, finishing the season with poise and confidence. This was a complete team effort built on improved defense, smarter possessions, and timely scoring. Alex Margaryan was a steady force all year, posting 16 in Week 2, 16 in Week 5, 15 in Week 6, and 11 on Finals Day, consistently appearing on the Offensive Top Performer lists. His leadership set the tone, but it was the Dolphins’ collective execution and resilience in close games that ultimately secured the title.
Rising Stars Division Champions: Spartans
The Spartans earned the Rising Stars championship with a 24 to 18 victory over the Wildcats, finishing the season as one of the most disciplined and connected groups in the division. Arthur Magzanyan anchored their success, highlighted by his 18 point Player of the Week performance in Week 4 and additional double digit outings in Weeks 6 and 8. He controlled tempo and delivered when needed, but the Spartans’ championship run was defined by team defense, physical play, and consistent execution across the lineup. They stayed composed in big moments and brought their best performance to the final.
All-Stars Division Champions: Raptors
The Raptors claimed the All-Stars championship with a hard fought 22 to 17 win over the Bears, completing a season built on balance and depth. Mason Martinez provided explosive scoring, including 21 points with five threes in Week 2 and another 20 in Week 6, giving the Raptors separation in key games. Spencer Brady was equally impactful, earning Player of the Week in Week 8 with 13 points, two threes, and a perfect 4 for 4 from the line, while consistently organizing the offense and making winning plays. On the defensive end, Eric Tomasyan set the tone, earning Defensive Top Performer honors in Week 2 and again on Finals Day. Under first year head coach Greg, who captured a championship in his debut season, the Raptors developed into a complete team that defended, executed, and delivered in the biggest moments.
