SPRING SEASON 2025

The Spring 2025 season has come to a close, and what a season it was! From tip-off to championship Saturday, our Jr Hoops players brought energy, effort, and enthusiasm to the court every single week. Across all divisions—from the youngest Future Stars to the seasoned All-Stars—we saw incredible growth, teamwork, and love for the game.

MILESTONES

  • Extended to a 10-Week Season – To maximize development and improve the overall experience, we added a 10th week to the season, giving players more time to compete and grow on the court.

  • Introduced Defensive Awards – These new honors was created to recognize players who make their biggest impact on the defensive end on an weekly and seasonal basis. It shines a spotlight on the effort, toughness, and game-changing plays that often go unnoticed but are critical to team success.

CHAMPIONS

Congrats to our Spring 2025 Champions! Let’s take a look at who came out on top in each division:

  • Youngsters Division Champions – Panthers (8-0) - The Panthers completed a perfect season, storming through the Youngsters Division with an undefeated 8-0 record. Led by Coach Armen, they capped off their dominant run with a 12-9 win over the Tigers in the championship game. The Panthers’ suffocating defense and balanced scoring attack made them the team to beat all season long. Coach Armen’s leadership and the squad’s unselfish play created a formula for consistent success, earning them their first-ever Jr Hoops title in spectacular fashion.

  • Rising Stars Division Champions – Spartans (8-0) - The Spartans went wire-to-wire as the top team in the Rising Stars Division, finishing 8-0 and winning the championship in thrilling overtime fashion, 29-25, over the Wildcats. Coach Syl’s team was known for their composure, sharp ball movement, and tenacious defense. In a season full of close games, the Spartans always found a way to finish strong. Their championship performance was no different, as they outlasted the Wildcats in one of the most intense finishes of the season to complete their undefeated run.

  • All-Stars Division Champions – Bulldogs (6-2) - The Bulldogs stepped up in the playoffs and delivered when it counted, taking down the Bears 43-26 to capture the All-Stars title. With Coach Tevan at the helm, the Bulldogs brought intensity, athleticism, and execution to every game. They combined a strong inside presence with perimeter scoring and a gritty defense that set the tone throughout the season. Their championship win was a product of hard work, toughness, and playing together as a team.

MVP

Awards one player per division whose overall impact, leadership, and performance made them the most valuable player in their division.

ALL-LEAGUE

Honors one player in each division whose defensive impact changed the game. Whether locking down top scorers, racking up steals, dominating the boards, or protecting the rim—these players made defense their signature and were key to their team's success all season long.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF SEASON

Honors five players across all divisions who demonstrated outstanding dedication, improvement, and a positive attitude, as chosen by the coaches.
